Bart Johnson

Bart Johnson is a laser engineer with a Ph.D. from MIT. His book, Can’t Be Trusted, is a memoir about engineering, aviation, and mental health. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife and two children. Despite being diagnosed with schizophrenia by the FAA, he drives an electric car that is twice as heavy, twice as powerful, and goes as fast as a Cessna 172. No questions asked.
