Ben Wheatley entered the field of health care policy in 1993, earning a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University. Over the past 30 years, he has worked at leading organizations including AcademyHealth, the Institute of Medicine, Kaiser Permanente, and Health Affairs. His primary focus has been on containing health care costs while improving patient outcomes.
