Ciarán Crummey, BSc, PhD, BAD. The PhD is in Marine Biology. The BAD is the diagnosis of Bipolar Affective Disorder that he received in 2006. Unlike his other qualifications, there are no records at all to show how this one was arrived at. He has been a service user activist in Ireland for the past seven years (an ex-service user for the past two), and sat on a sub-committee of the College of Psychiatry of Ireland.
