Katherine Anderson, MAT

Katherine Anderson is a veteran special education teacher and urban exploration photographer. She is the author of a number of nonfiction volumes on the history of state hospitals and mental health care, as well as a series of novels set in historic asylums. Danvers State Hospital is her first Images of America book. Kate lives in Western Massachusetts with her husband, beagles, and very overweight cat.
