Tim Wilson

Tim was involuntarily hospitalised in 1971 and diagnosed with schizophrenia. Today he no longer uses any form of psychiatric medication and self manages what some describe as psychotic symptoms including audible and visual hallucinations. He is a voluntary advocate for mental health reform in Australia, a member of the Victorian Mental Illness Awareness Council (VMIAC), a supporter of MAD pride and a founding member of the Australian peer mental health activist organisation The Pink Panther Movement.
