This series has as its aim educating parents about the current mental disorder paradigm as it relates to children. Today’s guest is Jon Jureidini. Jon Jureidini is an Australian child psychiatrist who heads Adelaide University’s Critical and Ethical Mental Health research group (CEMH), whichpromotes safer, more effective and more ethical research practices in mental health. He also heads the Pediatric Mental Health Training Unit (PMHTU), which provides training in non-pathologizing approaches to primary care mental health and is chair of the Australian-Palestinian Partnerships in Education and Health.
