From Mad in Norway: The Rethinking Mental Health film festival took place in Lillehammer 24 – 26 September 2026. At the monthly Mad in The World (MitW) meeting in late autumn 2025, the Norwegian editorial team took up the call from the network to follow up on the success of Mad in America’s (MIA’s) film festival in Boston 2014, and the film festival in Gothenburg 2015. Although the latter festival was not formally a Mad festival, it is considered part of what can now be called a tradition.
