In a review of randomized controlled trials, researchers in Belgium and the Netherlands found that yoga significantly improved both positive and negative symptoms as well as physical, psychological, social and environmental quality of life for people with schizophrenia diagnoses. The effects were found relative to both wait-list and exercise control conditions, with no adverse effects. Results will appear in Acta Psychiatrica Scandinavica.
