Stephen Weatherhead – Long Bio

NEURO-BOOM OR BUST?

Stephen Weatherhead, DClinPsy, is a UK-based clinical psychologist, specialising in brain injury and mental capacity. His clinical work is primarily focussed on family interventions following brain injury, and the implementation of the Mental Capacity Act. He has worked both in the NHS and independent sector, and is founder of Neuro Family Matters. He has published three books: The Pocket Guide to Therapy, Practical Neuropsychological Assessment in Acquired Brain Injury, and Narrative Approaches to Brain Injury. Stephen is a clinical tutor and research lecturer with the Lancaster Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, where he specialises in Neuropsychology, risk, narrative, and qualitative research. He is also editor of Clinical Psychology Forum (CPF). CPF is the professional publication of the British Psychological Society’s Division of Clinical Psychology (DCP).
