  1. Ah, yes. For the people who suffered completely cosmetic and completely reversible harm, here’s your hundreds of thousands of dollars. For the many who suffered serious and irreparable brain damage, here’s your SSI check and now go live in shame.

We live in a world of great justice. The drugs cause brain damage? O.K., let’s use them in children. The drugs cause BREASTS? Oh Nooo!!!!!

  2. Someone still needs to sue “NAMI” for promoting this stuff off label to children.

Right on the home page. Then 2 years later Joseph ‘Risperdal’ Biederman was recipient of the 1998 NAMI Exemplary Psychiatrist award.

Then him and the Harvard guys get busted , The New York Times exposed how Joseph Biederman earned $1.6 million in consulting fees from drug makers between 2000 and 2007 but did not report all of this income to Harvard University officials.

Below is the ‘apology’ letter written on the way to the bankI bet, what a joke.

  3. J&J had to be pushing Risperdal really hard around 2001. I was put on it. It caused a terrifying psychosis within two weeks. We went back to all my doctors complaining. All my doctors lied and said antipsychotics can never cause psychosis (there are medical journal articles proving there have been cases of antipsychotics causing psychosis for 50 years now). The idiot psychiatrist thought the fix for the extremely adverse reaction to the Risperdal was to double the dose. How stupid can you get, we left that psychiatrist. He confessed in my medical records this was a “Foul up.”

The next DO, who we were promised “knows everything about the meds,” took me off the Risperdal. But this moron put me on another antipsychotic, after the first one made me psychotic???? How sick and stupid can psychiatry be? Plus he added lithium. The Seroquel and lithium wasn’t as bad as the Risperdal. But two weeks later this doctor LIED to my husband and I, and added the Risperdal back!

Never go to a psychiatrist – they’re stupid and unethical.
