New York State has investigated five large insurance companies for violating state and federal mental health parity laws by illegally denying to cover claims for behavioral health conditions and drug abuse treatment, according to a report by North County Public Radio (ncpr).

I think it is dangerous territory for “Parity in Mental Health Treatment” , when we have voluntary and involuntary Mental Health Treatment.
If the “doctor” decides who is ill based on the “patients” behaviour, and there is unlimited money , many people will be “helped”/jailed until they kiss the ass of the doctor in charge.-
Involuntary psychiatry should go. That is the most important thing – until this is done no amount of educating the public about the dangers of drugs etc. will have any real meaning.
