From Neuroskeptic: Several “predatory” scientific journals — those that charge publication fees to authors without providing the editorial and publishing services offered by legitimate journals — have accepted a Star Wars-themed spoof research paper. The journals’ failure to recognize the paper as a spoof serves as a reminder that some “peer reviewed” journals do not have a meaningful peer review process at all.
