From TIME: Living purposefully may help people maintain their physical function and independence as they age. According to a new study, older adults with a higher purpose in life have a 13 percent decreased risk of developing a weaker grip and a 14 percent decreased risk of developing a slower walk than those with a lower sense of purpose.
