Accompanying madness in the institutional context

From Mad in Mexico: For some years now I have had the opportunity to work on the subject of accompaniment in mental health, this experience has been given in various contexts and for different purposes, however, I could not say that the mode of intervention has been so different regardless of the case where it took place, because if there is something that remains in the different contexts and that, in my experience, I consider as the main axis of the intervention, it is the primacy of the particularity, the importance of enabling the space for the development of the subjective/particular experience of each accompanied person. The contexts in which I have had the opportunity to develop this practice have been in spaces with clinical-social approaches and in the educational-labor field.
