“I was forcibly medicated for a psychosis I never had”

From Mad in Sweden: “It sounds like a nightmare, but for me it’s reality. I’m 35 years old and have been forcibly medicated with strong antipsychotic drugs for three years – even though I’ve never been psychotic. Even though I’ve said no time and time again. And even though my symptoms pointed to something completely different: a serious infection. Back in 2022, I had my Lyme disease documented by a specialist in Turkey. The symptoms were clear: stiffness, facial paralysis, fever spikes, balance problems, cognitive fog, and extreme fatigue. Classic signs of neuroborreliosis – an infection that attacks the nervous system and requires antibiotic treatment, not antipsychotics.”
