Mad in Germany: I was not even 20 years old when I was prescribed an SSRI in a clinic after I was admitted for a freath and suicide threats. I fought mentally with myself and was afraid of the future. In the clinic I was diagnosed with moderate depression, whereupon I was given the medication a few days later. I didn’t know any better at the time, because our society is being introduced: Those who have depression take antidepressants. As if that were automatically the only first option. Some people help these drugs, but many are also treated wrongly or, even worse, made lifelong patients.
