From The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy: The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has published a new draft guideline for treatment of depression in adults. The guideline recommends a wide variety of psychosocial interventions including counselling, as well as CBT, behavioral activation, interpersonal therapy, short-term psychodynamic therapy and behavioral couple’s therapy.
