The Food and Drug Administration is investigating the deaths of two individuals who died three to four days after injections of “an appropriate dose” of Zyprexa. Both patients, according to a bulletin released on the FDA website today, had “very high” levels of the drug present in their systems after death.
FDA Probes Death of Two People Taking Lilly’s Zyprexa (Wall Street Journal)
Depot injections are not a high tech science. They take an ester that is supposed to stick to muscle tissue and dissolve slowly and then mix the drug in with it. Theoretically the drug then enters the blood stream slowly as the ester dissolves. If the ester is expected to dissolve in two weeks, they will call it a 2-week depot injection. So many things can go wrong. The nurse missing the muscle when injecting it is a possibility, as if the possibility that the patient doesn’t have enough muscle to hold the ester at all. All the ester really does is make the injected oil sticky, but if it doesn’t stick to muscle, it goes straight to the blood stream.
Truly a very dangerous, dinosaur age technology.

Jeffrey,
I appreciate your knowledge on so many different subjects.
And of course, your passion… as a dad, especially on the subject of kids.

I meant to say that, as a dad, I appreciate your passion when it comes to protecting kids. Apologize for the grammar.

The criminals in Eli Lilly and Company have known that their product Zyprexa kills since at least 1998.
See http://zyprexakills.ath.cx/
This drug gave me pancreatitis and then withdrawal reactions from hell I was never warned about after taking the free samples there “drug reps” handed out like tick tacks.
Then after I goto the hospital complaining of the horrible withdrawal reactions that kept me awake for days with anxiety and panic attacks I am confronted with coercive psychiatry with its locked doors and injection threats as those stupid quacks label these withdrawal reactions symptoms of some medically untestable “psychiatric illness” I never had before taking this Zyprexa zombie Olanzapine crap.
I vomited daily as the withdrawal reactions went on for months cause it would have been better to be dead than to keep taking this zombie poison just to keep away the withdrawal reactions.

I so agree with you: olanzapine is pure poison. It nearly killed my son twice. Firstly he developed NMS which the doctors kept ignoring. When he tried to get off it, he was unable to sleep more than 10 minutes and to sit still for more than a minute. The doctors ignored that too. Then my son tried to kill himself.

8 days the main page has had the re-traumatizing headline staring at me, ‘Zyprexa Injections’.

Thanks to this drug, there are two days of my life I have no memory of, but I got the picture watching others drooling and babbling. Thanks, psychiatry! For making me feel crazy.
