From ABC News: According to the Transport Workers’ Union, one in five truck drivers report having experienced mental health issues due to the economic pressures and dangerousness of the industry.

“‘When you’ve got an industry that’s got the highest fatality rates — one in three people killed in a workplace is a truck driver…And we’ve got an industry under a huge amount of pressure from this economic epidemic of sweating truck drivers and truck operators — it’s a horrific recipe.'”
