Freedom of Expression Award in Mental Health Care

From Mad in Norway: Since 2002, the prize for promoting freedom of expression in mental health care has been awarded. The prize for promoting freedom of expression in mental health care can be awarded to a person, institution or organization that has excelled through its work to actualize the right to free expression and the conditions for this in mental health care as a system and the practice that takes place there. The award winner also is expected to promote fundamental respect for human beings, their integrity and their right to expression, co-determination and participation in the treatment collaboration.

The prize will be awarded during Arendalsuka 2022.
