I openly disclosed my past mental health challenges before being hired.
The first five months went well. At every meeting, at their request, I would share how my medication was working well and how I was doing. When I was asked again at a performance review about my health and medication, I said I considered these to be private matters. I found the prying uncomfortable. I then received a message stating that if I did not disclose my health and medication matters to my employer, my employment would be terminated immediately. My access rights to the systems I used for work were removed without notice.
