From Business Insider: According to a new study, PhD students are almost twice as likely to develop symptoms of poor mental health as the highly educated general population. About 51 percent of students surveyed said they had experienced at least two distressing mental health symptoms over the past week due to the stress and workload of PhD programs as well as bullying behavior and lack of useful feedback from supervisors.
