This safe space is so important and appreciated. Please know what a wonderful thing it is to share. I want everyone to know about MIA’s work. The gallery space is a treasure. All of the creative options that are available for giving people a chance to show and tell…. bravo!!! That’s something huge.
I love this piece of art/humor. The fact that some of us are exceedingly complicated (the child returning home with the very subtly articulated face), points to feeling past lives, other incarnations, spirit presences, other dimensions, even if not in a clear powerful way. And hence, what is not understood is usually attacked, denied, hidden, categorized as wrong, or destroyed.
