I was constantly walking up and down, around the kitchen island, around the dining table, around the house. I ate while walking and was unable to cook or take care of myself. I was completely dependent on my husband and my parents. My feet and legs hurt, they felt like thick swollen lumps. I could hardly stand shoes on my feet, ran as often as I could in socks or barefoot. I have completely gone through several pairs of brand new socks in the meantime.
