From MinnPost: Laws legalizing same-sex marriage are associated with a significant drop in teen suicide attempts. In states that legalized same-sex marriage before June 2015, when a ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court made such marriages legal nationwide, suicide attempts decreased by 7 percent among high school students and 14 percent among lesbian, gay, and bisexual high school students.
