A new article published in BJPsych International argues that globalization is complicating the responsibilities of the psy-disciplines. The authors, led by Yansen Alberth Reba of Cenderawasih University, contend that psychiatrists need to adopt more collaborative and evidence based approaches that align with society’s demands for inclusivity, equity, and ethical governance. This would allow the psy-disciplines to be more responsive to rapidly evolving mental health care needs while promoting transparency and social accountability. Additionally, the authors argue that non-western and less wealthy nations must be included in these conversations to avoid increasing disparity and inequity. The authors write:
“The concept of the metacommunity is proposed as a new framework emphasizing the need for psychiatrists to adopt socially critical thinking and public engagement to meet the needs of new communities formed through globalization and social media… However, [the proponents of metacommunities] are overly focused on wealthy countries, while low- and middle-income nations face different challenges.”

There is no point in all this endeavour because it is now clearly more insane NOT to be ‘mentally ill’ in a world which is objective, manifest madness. To pathologize depression and anxiety in a world like this is at best insanity, but more truthfully is actually just a calculated and conscious grift perpetrated by economic opportunists like psychiatrists and pharmacologists and researchers, who commit a crime of incalculable proportions, epic crimes being by now an institutionalized novel social form which although operating through pre-existing social structures is a peculiarly post-social and anti-social phenomena destined clearly to destroy society. We are clearly in the era of mega-crimes, and mega-vampires perpetrating their robberies in daylight, which is entirely necessary in this social life-cycle of the vampire, as the mechanism for the vampire virus’ self-replication is to inspire social imitators through their apparent success. By now social vampirism has become an unconscious social religion, and your only real social religion. The other religions you have have been instrumentalized by nationalist and capitalist ideologies or instrumentalized for one’s own egoism and greed. Nakedly we terminate in the worship of our own bottomless, destructive greed, and to mouth words like religion or love adds insult and deception to already grave injuries.
