Dr. Baughman was the author of the 2006 book The ADHD Fraud: How Psychiatry Makes Patients Out of Normal Children, and he testified in front of numerous governmental bodies as well as in media appearances against the indiscriminate medicating of children.

R.I.P., Fred….
WOW RIP Fred, I’m praying for his family.
I spoke to Fred Baughman on the phone once when my son’s school tried pushing different diagnoses on my son. Fred told me not to have my son tested, so I never did. Now my son is a doctor. Fred Baughman took up this challenge in the public interest and made a world of difference in the lives of both parents and children. All I can say is “Thanks”.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Fred for my podcast. I felt honored that he took time out of his day to talk to a joker like me about a subject he was passionate about. I wish I still had that interview, it’s lost forever. You fought the good fight, Dr. Baughman.
